PhotoDocs

Data Quality

A public snapshot of PhotoDocs data quality: how many document profiles are source-backed, how many still use ICAO-derived fallback logic and where the weakest regions remain.

What this page measures

This page publishes the current quality snapshot for the canonical PhotoDocs document profiles. It distinguishes exact official profiles, broader official-public profiles and lower-confidence ICAO-derived fallback profiles.

The purpose is simple: trust should be inspectable. Instead of claiming blanket accuracy, PhotoDocs shows how much of the catalog is already backed by official sources and where the remaining research backlog still exists.

Verification mix
Exact official profile · 69
These profiles are tied to official rules for the exact document or route and provide the strongest trust signal.
Official public profile · 102
These profiles use an official public source, but the source is broader than a narrow document-specific rule page.
ICAO-derived fallback · 21
These profiles still rely on local format data plus an ICAO-compatible biometric baseline until a stronger public source is confirmed.

Next upgrade regions

These metrics are calculated from canonical source profiles before language duplication, so localization does not inflate the percentages.

How to read these metrics
Canonical profiles first
Verification percentages are calculated on the base document profiles before language duplication, so the quality score is not inflated by localization count.
Official is not always exact
Some profiles are backed by public official guidance but not by a narrow document-specific page. Those are separated from exact official profiles.
Backlog stays visible
When a region still relies on ICAO-derived fallback logic, it is shown openly so the next research work is clear.
