Official Turkish identity-card photo rules were verified on 2026-04-13. NVI requires a 50 × 60 mm biometric photo on a plain white background, taken within the last 6 months, with the face centered and fully visible, eyes open and looking directly at the camera, even lighting, no shadows, and no tinted glasses or sunglasses. Head coverings are accepted only when the face from chin to forehead remains fully visible.
